SAN DIEGO, CA (July 11, 2018) – On Wednesday, the Superior Court of California issued a ruling securing the SDSU West initiative’s position on the November 2018 ballot. Wednesday’s ruling secures the ability for San Diego voters to approve SDSU West to expand San Diego State University on the Mission Valley stadium site through an open and transparent process.

“We are celebrating today’s victory alongside the more than 100,000 San Diegans who signed in support of placing SDSU West on the November ballot. The court upheld San Diego voters’ right to determine the future of the Mission Valley stadium site and approve the SDSU West initiative. Wednesday’s decision further increases SDSU West’s momentum forward to November, as the only initiative that provides the opportunity to expand landlocked San Diego State University and grow our regional economy through an open and transparent process – to the benefit of all San Diegans.”
